6/30: Green Belt

I decided to get up early today and take a photo so I could put together my post at lunch time. Why? Because I'm enjoying a night of Jessica tonight sans wrinkled dollar. Instead of going through the trouble of putting on makeup and doing my hair, I just put on a hat.



Green Belt: I found this AWESOME belt at (ta da!) Goodwill. Belts at Goodwill are normally $.99, but I bought this on a 50% off Saturday. (I swear I shop at other places other than Goodwill).

I decided to take part in the Fashion/Beauty Friend Friday (FBFF) over at Modly Chic. This weeks topic revolves around COLOR!

1. What color dominates your closet?
I just went into my closet and looked and I see a lot of green, blue and gray, but there is a pretty decent mix of several other colors.

2. If money weren't an issue how would you change the color emphasis in your closet? If money were no object I would love to add more colorful patterns. I typically buy items that are very versatile and have found it difficult to mix in bold patterns often enough. Also, when I find a great shoe/boot I sometimes steer away form the color option and instead buy it in a neutral so I can wear it more. If money were no object I would totally buy the red/purple/orange, etc version.

3. What is your mantra about mixing colors?
Trust your instincts and own it.

4. For you, how do you incorporate color into your outfits?
I like to add a "pop of color" to pretty basic outfits - throw on a pair of jeans with a simple gray top, but add a bright scarf or pair of shoes.

5. Which blogger(s) do you think do a good job of incorporating color into their wardrobe? I am new to the blogging world, but I think that Liz at 26 and Counting, Hello, monkeyface, and Keira at a Pretty Penny really know how to work it!
